Basic Controls

Great - you joined an experience! Now, how do you navigate it? In this article, you will learn how to move, interact with worlds, socialize with others and adjust your settings in Agora.

Movement

Walk: Arrow Keys or WASD Keys

     

• Move Forward:
• Move Backward:  
• Move Left:
• Move Right:  

Turn your head: Use your computer's trackpad or connected mouse. Move your cursor up, down, left, or right to turn in that direction.

Sprint/Slow Down: Shift toggles sprint on and off.

Interaction

Talk to others: Simply speak into your computer to talk to others when they are nearby.

Chat: Press the C key to send chats to other visitors.

Emotes: Press the E key to bring up a list of emotes to gesture to other people:

Interact with objects: Left click while looking at objects in the environment (like images and booths) to interact with them. This will allow you to play videos, click links, navigate to other rooms and more.

Clickable objects will appear with this symbol when you are looking at them:

You can use this same control when looking at other users to bring up their Profile Card:

Main Menu

Access the Menu: Press Tab or ESC.

Share Room Code: Click Copy Link next to the Room Code at the top of the menu to copy it to your clipboard.

Take/View Photos

Take Pictures:

1. While on the Menu, press the camera icon at the top:
2. Select Camera Mode, then follow the on-screen instructions to take a photo.

View Pictures:

1. While on the Menu, press the camera icon at the top:
2. Select My Pictures. From here, you can click on individual photos to see them enlarged, or press "Go To Folder" to see your photos on your hard-drive.

Mute/Unmute Yourself and Others

Mute yourself: At the top of the Main Menu, press this icon if it says "Unmuted" next to it:

Unmute yourself: At the top of the Main Menu, press this icon:

Mute others: Select Social from the Menu. Find the name of the person you want to mute in the list. Then, click this button next to their name to mute them:

• If you are near the person you want to mute, you can click on them to bring up their profile, then click the same symbol under their profile picture to mute them.

This icon next to Spencer's name signifies that he is muted.
